FrostFrench Daily Fix

Sadie Frost and Jemima French’s FrostFrench label is due to receive huuuge press coverage this month. No doubt because of their Fall Collection released last month.
I don’t know about Jemima French, but from what I know about Sadie Frost (for following her style, and the gossip around her with absolutely no shame) is that you can expect everything from this woman. Forget about Jude Law, 22 years old toy boys , close Kate Moss friendship and so on. If there is someone in the UK that has the absolute charisma and no replica style its her.

18th Amendment is a product of the collaboration between Australian designer Rebecca Dawson and denim distributor Rachel Rose, and yes its a strange name for a fashion brand.
It has developed into a must-have line for women who demand intricate detail and the perfect fit from their jeans. Inspired by Hollywood icons of the roaring ’20s, 18th Amendment’s show-stopping denim blends modern and vintage fits, finishing, and detailing for the trend setting female with a certain coquettish air.
It’s the choice of Sienna Miller, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Eva Mendes, so lets take a closer look of what it is about. Lets take these retro style jeans for example.
They have 5 pocket styling and a button closure. There are stitching details at both fly and back pockets, and no surprise – the sooo hot wide flare leg!

I love London fashion, and I am not apologizing for that. I simply adore it. I also waited for the frostfrench website to finish with its construction for I think at least 3 years. But its over! Now the collection is here – and I promise this post will be one of many forthcoming reviews of the two London ladies’ work.
So enough of my obsessions, let’s talk fashion.
Heart Jacket

This jacket is my first pick. It equally fits with dress and pants, or the jeans below. It has ruffle collar which is always stylish and the puff sleeves just add to that picture. The color is navy.

To me this dark blue denim jeans design look like fit-it-all. The waistline is just as it has to be for being comfortable and elegant at the same time. The waistband also has belt loops, and the front pockets are with zip and button fastening. They’re 100% cotton.

This jacket definitely catches the eye, I am still trying to figure out whether it’s the design or the color, most probably both. Obviously frostfrench emphasize on the ruffled collars in their style which I find very fresh. What you can’t see from the image is that the jacket has hidden pull belt and belt loops at lining them.

I didn’t expect this dress. Not that I don’t like it, just didn’t expect it in this collection. I like the low waistline and two front hip pockets. Still cannot decide whether it fits better with flats or wedges … what do you think?

The most expected collection from Topshop is here. For me its so much better than the last one. It consists of more than 50 unique items, and for me especially the dresses are stunning.
On the official Topshop websites you can either go behind the collection scenes and/or view how the clothes fit on Kate Moss through the slide show.
My top picks are definitely:
· Asymetric Leather Jacket – made from soft black leather, with zip-up fastening and no collar. A must-have for the London indie scene!
· Zig-Zag Dress – Black and white zig-zag pattern with same scarf around the neck. Is it just me or asymitric is the new hot hot hot?
· Punky Chain Heels – High heels with triple chain at the toe and ankle strap. Black Leahter. No need to mention the London music scene again.
· Stevie Jeans – Tight around the hips navy jeans, high waistline and kick flare. One step closer to the ultra high waistline jeans!
· Chiffon Tied Neck Blouse Black – Although I am not sure that this design fits perfectly to all, the covered buttons at the placket and ties around collar, waist & wrists are simply adorable and I already see it fitting nicely with a pair of skinnies!

What do you think of these honestly?
Because I had a second thought when I first saw them on a few celebrity bums … soon after though they completely overwhelmed me (same experience I had with ultra skinny jeans). Now that the trends are clear and more and more new arrivals come I am absolutely into the skinnies with or without corset.
As someone forever faithful to Topshop I am more than happy to see the skinnies still. This particular pair is in indigo, 98% cotton & 2% elastane. To help you stay elegant in your daily life they are machine washable.
